Fitts' Law states the " It is faster to hit the larger targets closer to you than the smaller targets further from you ".

- For designing of things this law is helpful and understands the movement of the people
- Brake system in cars.... Brake pedal is bigger and nearer compared to accelerator.
- Makes it faster and easier to hit at the time of emergency (Target Brake)
Consider a Computer monitor... If the icons placed at corners of the screen
- It is easy for user to access the icons if placed at the corners
- Corner placement makes the icon (target) infinitely sized , as cursor stops at the end

- Target is now image which larger than menu tab.
- Ease of user access.
- Distance from the target is reduced.
